MC K9 was founded as a result of the beauty that lies in the refining relationship between man and dog, a relationship which mirrors the refining relationship between God and man. This unique relationship is what led Cameron to passionately pursue dog training as a career. At MC K9, we believe that there is nothing more beautiful that watching man and creature truly walk as one, overcoming the distractions of this world and deepening their relationship. At MC K9, our training services are centered around creating a more sound relationship between you and your dog. To start, we establish roles - your role as teacher and leader and your dog's role as student. Once your dog understands they are the student and you are the teacher, we can begin with training geared at tuning your dog into the sound of your voice and the commands uttered as we reward a listening dog who responds to commands through motivation based training principles. A goal of MC K9's is to teach your dog that their decisions matter. This notion leads to accountability on behalf of your dog. MC K9's Cameron is unique in that he is one of the only graduates from the Michael Ellis School for Dog Training in the area. He has had the opportunity to complete 1,000+ apprenticeship hours in the field and has had the pleasure of working for and with some of the most experienced trainers in the country. He takes pride in continuing his education and consistently growing his skill's repertoire.
Cameron's skills training doesn't stop when the work day is over. He enjoys training his own dogs, high-energy dogs who have helped him to understand both the challenges and joys of dog ownership.
